Attempt at Painting

This is my sad attempt at painting a flower... The practice page is as far as I got. Lol. I don't have a lot of experience with painting. Pencils are easiest for me. I'm not sure when I did this one... I think it was about a month or two ago.

Ballet Skirt

So today I got bored and decided to try and sew my own ballet skirt. I had some old pink curtains that were sort of the right materiel for a ballet skirt, though not so pretty and flowy. I used my purchased white wrap-around Capazio ballet skirt as a guide. It took me about 45 minutes from start to finish(and prayer). It's not as pretty as my white skirt, but I can use it as a back-up.

Ballet Class

I said I was going to talk a little about ballet on my blog, so here it goes...
So today I had a ballet class, only myself and one other girl showed up. It's really nice sometimes to have a smaller class because our dance instructor, Mrs.Donna, has more time to focus on individuals and help us perfect certain steps. Also, Sundays is our most difficult class because our Tuesday class has a lot of younger girls. By the way, I take classical ballet. Since there was only two of us today though, our teacher worked us extra hard... I was exhausted after class!I think most people don't really realize how physically challenging ballet is. It's not about pink tutus and dancing on your toes. After class I drank like two full bottles of water... Most of all I have to remember that I'm not dancing for just pleasure, but for God!
